教宗庇護十二世
1950年教宗頒定「聖母升天」為教義
由以下短片可見，教宗庇護十二世於1950年頒定「聖母升天」為教義 (dogma) 的時候，是極為隆重，亦可見到信友對聖母的熱母愛，以及對教會的熱忱。
聖母蒙召升天瞻禮
祝各位有一個有福的聖母蒙召升天瞻禮！
1950年11月1日，教宗庇護十二世 (台譯碧岳) 頒布《廣賜恩寵的天主》宗座憲章 (Apostolic Constitution " Munificentissimus Deus")，確立了教會已保存多年的道理為信條，就是聖母蒙召升天。在重覆了歷代教父如何確立了這信理之後，庇約教宗在第44段確立這為信條：
44. For which reason, after we have poured forth prayers of supplication again and again to God, and have invoked the light of the Spirit of Truth, for the glory of Almighty God who has lavished his special affection upon the Virgin Mary, for the honor of her Son, the immortal King of the Ages and the Victor over sin and death, for the increase of the glory of that same august Mother, and for the joy and exultation of the entire Church; by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, and by our own authority, we pronounce, declare, and define it to be a divinely revealed dogma: that the Immaculate Mother of God, the ever Virgin Mary, having completed the course of her earthly life, was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory.
「無玷的天主之母，貞世童貞瑪利亞在結束她在人間生活的過程後，身體及靈魂都被蒙召升天進入天堂的光榮中。」
有關聖母蒙召升天的道理實在很多，但筆者願意在這裡分享今日在彌撒中的默想：聖母的肉身及靈魂升天跟我們有何關係？

薩拉樞機：2014年2月18日，教宗方濟各在慶祝梵蒂岡第二屆大公會議《禮儀憲章》 (Sacrosanctum Concilium) 50周年的研討會中提到，頒布《禮儀憲章》50周年之際，正應促使我們「 重燃決心，以更完滿的方式接受及落實《禮儀憲章》的訓導」。教宗接著說：\n\n> 有需要去團結一個 更新的意願，邁進會議教長們所指出的道路，因為，為使信友及教會團體正確及完整地融會貫通《禮儀憲章》，還有很多事情需要做。
教宗庇護十二世: 聖心為三種「愛」的標記
天主降生為人的這顆聖心，理宜作為救世主，常燃不熄地，愛慕天父，愛慕世人的「聖愛」標記，質言之，聖心是他和聖父與聖神共有的「聖愛」的標記，他便為了表示這種「神愛」取了脆弱可死的肉軀，降生為人，「在他身上，便具體地表現著天主性的完備美妙」。
